One-Gallon Stoneware Milkpan with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, flared pan with semi-squared rim and pinched pouring spout, decorated on the front and reverse with two tulips emanating from long stems with graduated leaves. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and a curved line of cobalt underneath each handle. A 1 3/4" loss to one handle. A minor, 2 1/2" X-shaped surface line to interior, not visible on exterior, and a minor, approximately 4" surface line to underside, not visible on interior.
