Fine and Scarce Half-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "WB", Washington Becham, Crawford County, GA, second half 19th century, squat-shaped jug with flared spout and two tooled lines at shoulder, the surface covered in an appealing light-green alkaline glaze. Handle impressed "WB". Excellent size and color. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Three base chips. Some in-the-firing separation lines to underside and base. H 8".
