Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, Pennsylvania origin, possibly Philadelphia, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with wavy trails and foliate motifs, flanking on unusual central design of a fylfot interspersed with leaves. Restoration to rim and areas of slip. L 13 1/2" ; W 13 5/8".
