One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HARRISBURG. PA", attributed to William Moyer, Harrisburg, PA, circa 1858-1861, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of two daisies emanating from a central stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Essentially as-made condition with some dryness to cobalt and staining to base area, primarily on reverse.
