Four Stoneware Beer Bottles, American, 19th century, one with cobalt-decorated top, stamped "F. GLEASON / LEMON BEER"; one with the cobalt-decorated mark, "W,W. WRIGHT / ROOT BEER"; one impressed "NORFOLK BEER" with light Albany slip glaze; and one impressed "LOWREY'S XX". Gleason bottle with chipped section to base and some fry to cobalt. Wright bottle with a few base chips, a line to shoulder, and a piece of clay adhered to underside. Norfolk Beer bottle with partially-drilled hole at base, lines to spout and shoulder area, and several chips. Lowrey's bottle in excellent condition. H (of Gleason bottle) 9".
