Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, second and third quarters 19th century, a four-gallon ovoid jar with elaborate cobalt tulip decoration, Baltimore, MD origin; paired with a four-gallon ovoid jar with swag and hanging flower decoration, Southeastern PA origin. Baltimore jar broken into pieces and reglued, with hole in bottom, rim chips, and handle chips. Pennsylvania jar in excellent condition with a small handle chip.
