One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875. ovoid jar with footed base, ribbed lug handles, and tall flaring collar, decorated on both sides with heavy cobalt swags. Good form, color, and decoration. Excellent condition with a minor rim chip.
