Scarce Stoneware Bowl with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, with rounded sides and heavily-tooled shoulder, decorated across the front with six straight and wavy cobalt stripes. Strong form and decoration. Excellent condition. Minor, approximately 1" in-the-firing separation line at base, continuing 1/2" onto underside, not visible on interior. Some light wear to interior base. H 5 5/8" ; Diameter 8 3/4".
