Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, American, 19th century, with coggled edges, one with straight and wavy lines of yellow slip surrounding three groups of four short slip lines; the other decorated with three groups of wavy yellow slip lines, incised "M" on reverse. Larger plate with wear to interior, some staining, and a tight 1 1/2" line from edge. Smaller plate with wear to interior, a 1 1/2" edge flake, a 3/8" edge chip, and wear to reverse. Diameter (of larger plate) 10 1/4".
