One-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a brushed cobalt swag and hanging flower design. Cobalt wavy line decoration under each handle. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and a faint Y-shaped surface line on underside, probably in-the-firing and not visible on in the interior.
