Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER N.Y.," circa 1875, ovoid churn with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design consisting of a large blossom, marked "4" at the center flanked by fern-like leaves. Professional restoration to cracks, extending primarily through left side of decoration. Some fry to cobalt. Shallow rim chip.
