Three New England Stoneware Jugs, second quarter 19th century, a one-gallon jug with cobalt-highlighted handle terminals, stamped "A. STATES & CO."; a one-gallon jug, stamped "STEDMAN & SEYMOUR / NEW-HAVEN"; and a one-gallon jug, stamped “L. & B. G. CHACE / SOMERSET”. States jug with glazed-over contact mark to front, a base chip, two spout chips, and a hairline to shoulder. New-Haven jug with hairline to shoulder, in otherwise excellent condition. Chace jug in excellent condition.
