Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Foliate Decoration, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, thick semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt foliate design accented with spots. Excellent color. Two chips on interior of rim. Two very minor nicks to one handle. Some small bubbled spots to cobalt.
