Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, second quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flaring rim, decorated with daubs of manganese over a dark red ground covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent condition with a minor rim chip and some old spots of white paint to surface. H 10".
