Glazed Redware Jar, probably New England, circa 1840, baluster-form jar with tooled midsection, tall collar, and applied tab handles, the surface decorated with manganese dashes under a clear lead glaze. Shallow chips and wear to rim. Chip to opposite handle. A thin crack around base, continuing onto underside. H 8".
