Lot of Two: Redware Crock and Redware Batter Pitcher

Price Realized: $143.75 ($125 hammer, plus 15% buyer's premium).
Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, an ovoid jar with twisted handles and manganese decorated surface, paired with a batter pitcher with heavy manganese sponging over an olive ground. Jar broken and reglued, with additional chips and wear to rim. Pitcher missing handle, with rim and surface wear, base chips, and hairlines to underside. H (of jar) 11 7/8".
