Two Philadelphia Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, 19th century, one a cylindrical jar with rounded rim, decorated with four cobalt leaves and made circa 1830; the other a smaller jar decorated with four cobalt leaves and made circa 1875. Larger jar in as-made condition. Smaller jar in as-made condition with in-the-making flaws, including a base chip, stone ping on rim, and small chip in top of rim. H 7".
