Three Mid-Atlantic Stoneware Jars, circa 1880, a half-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to Ralph J. Grier, Chester Co., PA, a one-gallon Baltimore jar with cobalt clover decoration; and a one-and-a-half-gallon Baltimore jar with cobalt clover and line design. Half-gallon jar with crack in underside, which forms an inverted Y and extends 5 1/2" up side of jar. Jar also has crazing to shoulder, short crack from rim, and rim chips. One-gallon jar in as-made condition. One-and-a-half-gallon jar with hairlines throughout rim, chip on exterior of rim, and small chip on interior of rim. H (of smallest jar) 8 3/8".
