Rare Glazed Redware Presentation Jug or Flask, Incised "William / Reid Heath / Grove Farm / 1847," English origin, ovoid jug with flattened sides, tall spout, and applied strap handle. Decorated with splashed manganese under a clear lead glaze. Unusual form and presentation inscription. In-the-firing 1" x 3/8" spot lacking glaze on reverse. Minor base wear. Small rim chips. H 6 1/2".
