Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Indian Head Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1870, straight-sided jug with applied strap handle, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of an Indian head with mohawk. Small spout chips. Some small areas of light staining. 1 1/4" shallow base flake. H 16".
