Price Realized: $230.00 ($200 hammer, plus 15% buyer's premium).
Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, Pa.," circa 1870, ovoid jug with applied strap handle, decorated with a large brushed cobalt leaf. Handle broken in two places and reglued. Tiny hole in left side of front of jug. Small chip on interior of spout. H 15 1/4".
