Unusual Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Sailboat and Floral Decorations, Midwestern origin, circa 1860, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder and applied handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt flower at the midsection, and below the rim with a lightly brushed cobalt sailboat. Two small handle chips. Small rim chip on reverse. H 14 1/2".
