Glazed Redware Lidded Jar, American, early 19th century, ovoid jar with handle, covered in a cream-colored slip and decorated with slashes of copper slip, all under a clear lead glaze. Includes original, similarly-decorated domed lid with finial. Significant glaze loss to jar. A few small spots of glaze loss to edge of lid and finial. H (including lid) 7 1/2".
