Rare Albany Slip Glazed Stoneware Advertising Pig Bottle, Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, circa 1885, decorated on one side with an incised map with various landmarks, including Chicago the Corn Crib, Miss River, Cairo, Mounds, and Grand Tower. The words "Cincinnati the Porkopolis" written across the pig"s stomach, in front of genitals. Reverse of bottle with the incised inscription "St. Louis the future Capital / From John Gaubatz / No. 115 Green Street / With a little Good Old Rye in". Spout chips. Chip on front foot. Length 8".
