Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "C. CROLIUS, / MANUFACTURER. / NEW-YORK," circa 1820, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, brush-decorated with a stylized drape motif around the shoulder. A 7/8" in-the-firing iron ping to rim. Some crazing to underside. A few in-the-firing flaws to surface, including a 1" in-the-firing surface chip near base. H 10".
