Unusual Open-Handled Stoneware Churn with Cobalt-Highlighted Banding, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, tapering form with raised banding to the rim, shoulder, and base, the shoulder fitted with upturned loop handles. Cobalt highlights to banding and handle terminals. Significant restoration to one side and rim/shoulder area. One handle restored. Base chips. H 15 5/8".
