One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Bird Motif, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO.PA.," circa 1880, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling surrounding a raised-wing bird motif. Small stenciled tulips above. Some wear to cobalt and staining/residue from use to surface. A 1 1/4" in-the-firing surface line to interior of rim, not visible on exterior. H 8 1/4".
