Two One-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, both of cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rims, one with brushed leaf motif, the other decorated with swags. Leaf-decorated with a small hole and semi-circular line in underside and fry to cobalt. Swag-decorated jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of shorter) 7".
