Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Pitcher, Signed "Bayne / Maker / SC," Michel Bayne, Greenville, SC, early 21st century, ovoid pitcher with tall collar featuring a hand-modeled and finely- scuplted clay face after the Martin Brothers of Southall, England. Surface covered in a streaky alkaline glaze. Incised on reverse with Michel Bayne signature. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12 1/4".
