Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, ovoid jar with tooling to shoulder and rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a yellowish ground. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. A small chip to exterior of rim. Additional rim wear. A thin 2" crack from rim. Staining to surface. H 4 3/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 5 1/8".
