Scarce Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Coggled Signature, Paul Cushman, Albany, NY, 1811, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flaring semi-squared rim, featuring the coggled signature around the midsection, "PAUL:CUSHMAN.S:STONEWARE.FACTORY.1811." Surface covered in a streaky Albany slip glaze. Provenance: Warren F. Hartmann Collection. Restored rim chips. A thin 3 1/4" crack from rim. H 7 3/4".
