Three Pieces of Stoneware, American, circa 1875, a two-gallon jar with cobalt bird-on-branch decoration, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y., a two-gallon ovoid jug with later painted floral decoration, Western PA origin; and a one-gallon jar with clover decoration, Baltimore, MD origin. Bird-decorated jar with chips to interior of rim, restoration to collar on front, a small chip and line to one handle, a small chip to shoulder molding, and some staining. Jug with base chips, crazing, and later decoration. Baltimore jar with a horizontal hairline at base and a small chip to interior of rim. H (of tallest) 14".
