Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird-on-Branch Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a design of a crested bird perched on a leafy stem. Three holes drilled in underside. A crack from rim on reverse. A short crack from rim on front. Various in-the-firing pings to surface. Base and rim chips. Some staining. H 10".
