Six-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Decoration, Signed "J. Lambright / Newport / Ohio," circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, narrow mouth, and two open handles descending from the rim to the shoulder; one side inscribed in slip-trailed cobalt, "6 /J. Lambright / Newport / Ohio," the other side with slip-trailed floral motif. Broken into pieces and reglued, including significant fill and painting to underside and base area. H 19 1/2".
