Four Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Bell Family, Strasburg, VA, circa 1875-1890, a canning jar and larger cylindrical jar, stamped "SOLOMON BELL / STRASBURG / Va.," together with a one-gallon jug and one-gallon cobalt-swag-decorated jar, stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG." Canning jar with rim chips, a few small base chips, and a short line at base. Other Solomon Bell jar in excellent condition with a few tiny rim chips. Jug with two chips to underside at edge, some typical in-the-firing flaws to surface, and minor surface wear. S. Bell & Son jar with significant restoration. H (of smallest) 8 1/2".
