One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "S.H. SONNER / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, brush-decorated around the shoulder four stylized flower blossoms. A long crack to base area. Some restoration to rim. H 9 1/8".
