Scarce Small-Sized Redware Plate with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Stamped "W. SMITH. / WOMELSDORF," PA origin, circa 1880, decorated with five alternating trails of copper and cream-colored slip under a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with Willoughby Smith maker's mark. Desirable slip decoration featuring copper, lesser-seen for this maker. Flakes to interior. Small rim chips. Diam. 6 1/2".
