Glazed Redware Jug Bank, attributed to George Wagner, Carbon County, PA, late 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulder, and pointed finial. Applied handle and carved slot at shoulder. Surface decorated with splashed copper and manganese over a yellow clay ground and covered in clear lead glaze. Provenance: Ex-Seamen's Bank Collection with code number painted on underside. Two small chips to foot. Minor wear to tip of finial. H 4 1/2".
