Glazed Redware Jug, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base, semi-squared spout, and heavily-ribbed handle, decorated with manganese sponging and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed "14" on underside. Significant base chipping. An oval 3/4" hole at shoulder. A small chip and wear to interior of spout. Light wear around midsection. Minor nicks to handle. H 8 1/2".
