Glazed Redware Tobacco Jar, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with footed base and coggled vine motif at shoulder, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Two filled and colored rim chips. A small surface chip near base. H 9".
