Unusual Redware Bowl with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Stamped "J M," PA or possibly Southern U.S. origin, early to mid 19th century, with rounded sides and rim, the lead-glazed interior decorated with a wavy slip-trailed band of copper slip between bands of yellow slip, the rim decorated with an additional wavy copper slip band. Underside impressed "J M" and incised with the number "9". Wear to rim and interior, including flakes to interior base. H 3 1/2" ; Diam. 11 5/8".
