Three Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, American, 19th century, an undecorated batter pail with tin covers, stamped "EVAN R. JONES / PITTSTON, PA," circa 1875; a one-gallon cylindrical jar with brushed-cobalt swag-and-hanging-flower motif, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1850; and a half-gallon ovoid jug with brushed-cobalt swag decoration, circa 1830. Batter pail with some crazing to rim, a tiny rim nick, a shallow chip to handle at base on reverse, and some staining. Jar with a small in-the-firing base chip, a small in-the-firing chip to interior of rim, a small post-firing chip to interior of rim, a short hairline from rim, and short in-the-firing line to interior of rim. Jug with crazing to surface, a small spout chip, small base chips, the handle reglued with chips along break at upper handle. H (of jug) 10".
