One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM.MOYER.," Harrisburg, PA origin, circa 1858-1861, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a leafy stem bearing a tulip and two buds. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. An approximately 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" restored section to rim. Hairlines to underside, continuing onto base. Staining to surface. A small chip to one handle. H 9 1/2".
