Pair of Glazed Pottery Owl Figures, Both Signed "D.X. GORDY," Primrose, GA, 20th century, wheel-thrown forms with hand-modeled and applied features, glazed mottled brown with bluish eyes. One with head looking sideways, the other with head looking backwards. Incised "D.X. GORDY" signature on underside of each. Provenance: Carl and Marian Mullis Collection; Ex-Southern Folk Pottery Collectors Society, 2012. Both in excellent condition. Dimensions (of larger): 6" x 6".
