Three Glazed Redware Flowerpots, attributed to Anthony Bacher at the Big Hunting Creek Pottery, Mechanicstown (now Thurmont), MD, circa 1880, all with flaring crimped rims, tooled accents to body, and original drain holes in underside, decorated with splashed manganese over cream-colored slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Smallest stamped "W.A. LYNN" for William Addison Lyyn, owner of the Big Hunting Creek Pottery, where Bacher was employed. Tallest in good condition for this form with a few rim chips. Others with chips, flaking, losses to rim, and glaze loss to base, one including a 1 3/4" chip to underside at edge. H (of tallest) 6 5/8".
