Large-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Egg Cup, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid form on stepped pedestal base, the surface decorated with splashes of cream-colored slip, copper, and manganese under a clear lead glaze. Excellent condition with a few minor base nicks. H 3 3 /8" ; Diam. (at base) 3 1/4".
