Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, flare-rimmed form with attached saucer and coggled edges, the exterior surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Three thin cracks from rim measuring 3 3/4", 3 1/4", and 1 1/4". A 3/4" line in rim. A 3/4" rim chip and other rim wear. A 1 3/4" flake to interior. Rim of saucer with a 1 1/4" x 3/8" filled section and a few chips. Some glaze wear to bottom edge of pot. H 8 3/8".
