Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base, brush-decorated with a tulip plant emanating from a stripe at the base. Swag decoration to spout and collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a faint 1 3/4" Y-shaped line in underside and a faint 1 1/4" line in underside, extending approximately 1/2" onto base, both of which appear to be in-the-making. H 9".
