Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and arched tab handles, brush-decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant on the front and reverse. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a tiny rim nick. H 8 3/8".
