Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, brush-decorated in Albany slip with an undulating fuschia vine above a freehand stripe. Collar decorated with draped brushwork at the rim, a wavy stripe below, and dashes along its base. Dashes to edges of handle and highlights to handle terminals. A small restored rim chip on side of pitcher. Minor chips to spout. Additional spots of wear to spout and rim. H 6 5/8".
